Operation of the proposed solution

We developed an enhanced compressive sensing-based algorithm for the estimation of Taylor–Fourier coefficients in a multifrequency dynamic phasor model. The algorithm provides very good accuracy in harmonic and interharmonic phasor measurement, as well as in operation as a standard phasor measurement unit. It allows to combine multiple functions into a promising new-generation measurement, monitoring, and diagnostic device.

Challenges

1. Develop fault detection and analysis capabilities under test conditions specified by EN 50160.
2. Comply with stringent latency and reporting rate requirements while providing extended diagnostic functions.
