About the Network
Rethinking how
science communicates
Res4Net connects researchers across 14 Italian universities and institutes to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and new models of scientific communication — without profit, without constraints.
Our origin
What is the Res4Net Network?
The Res4Net laboratory network arises from the recognition that the languages and channels of scientific communication are changing. Young, digitally-native researchers increasingly prefer social media and non-verbal formats for sharing results. The recent pandemic accelerated this shift, testing new communication models on a global scale.
Res4Net was founded as a group to think, practice and promote — without profit — new forms of scientific communication, with particular attention to collaboration and interdisciplinary integration. It does not formally bind its members: researchers join to gain visibility, share tools, and contribute to a collective mission.
